JDI Amsterdam

Christmas 2008 - Andrea & Justin Steer, Sue & Shawn der Kinderen, Antonia & Tim Walker hosted a Christmas Cocktail Party in the heart of Amsterdam in support of the Imetha Yelanga Childrens Home in Mfuleni, Cape Town.

The event was a great success and raised a very generous Euro 1,930.00 (about R26,000). These funds have been used to build a bathroom for the Home which houses 14 children sharing one bedroom. They now finally have basins, flushing toilets, showers and a bath, things which most of us take for granted.

The JDI Foundation thanks all those who attended the event and gave so generously as well as a big thanks to the hosts for organising this wonderful event.
